At the time we designed the front
suspension kit, our community of racers specialized in small
displacement formula cars. The geometry of the design for the
DSK Formula Car Front Suspension Kit utilized current Formula
Ford geometry for camber change with roll. By adjusting the rack
height with shim, this suspension could be completely "bump-steered."
That is, adjusted so that the front wheels did not "steer"
when deflect in bump. This adds cornering power, stability and
predictability to the package of attributes we all call "handling."
If memory serves, the precise geometry was lifted from a Lola
T20 Formula Ford.
