1962 SII Cosworth, 1350ccm, SB1402
Heggedal, Norway

My first contact with "The Seven" was at an exhibition in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1966. I "fell in love" with that car, but I have not been able to buy a seven until now.

I bought my Lotus Super 7 Cosworth 14. April 1999 from a car dealer called "Roadster Square" in Oslo Norway. This week (10 - 2001) I begin reassembly of my car with new and original parts. The car left the factory in Delamare Road, Cheshunt in Hertfordshire, UK 10. March 1962. The customer was: M. Wilson, 31,Greenhill Avenue, High Brompton, Show, Oldham, (Lancashire)

I don't know anything about the car until 31. July 1996: It was sent from Kirsten Tams in American Freight Line, Huntington Beach, CA, 15. Aug 1996, with Hoger Fischer Spedisjon A/S in Oslo, Norway. I have some pictures of the car before it was shipped from CA.

I have had some contact with the person who found the car and shipped it to Norway, his name is Jeff Harwin, and I think he lives in San Marcos, California. He has not been able to help me either.

The car is currently yellow, I think it has also been blue, but it was originally bare aluminum and red. The signs/number plates are from California, they are blue with yellow digits, and the number is 738 ZXL, in the left corner there is a white label which reads "Oct".
