SB 1442

I recently picked up #1442 to keep my still under restoration #1099 company. The car came with a destroyed and non-correct 1600 crossflow. A rebuildable 2731 motor has been acquired and should be back on the vintage circuit by Spring.

I believe the 2731 block is a late model Cortina, 1500cc, lip seal, five main crank. (According toTom at Dave Bean, its readly acceptable with the vintage clubs out here). I only just picked up the block from Dave Kizer this last weekend and haven't really looked at it just yet. I have quite a background in the BMC motors having run an HP Bugeye (with Mike Ostrov and Myles Winbigler) years ago, this is my first Ford experience.
