Over recent months, SimpleSevens solicited submissions by Lotus Seven owners from the Lotus Seven email list requesting details of specific failures of their cars. The results reinforce what we already know to be the more commonly known failure points of the original design... but does that mean the design was underengineered? You may be surprised by the relative durability of the Lotus developed components when compared to those sourced from outside suppliers... curious yet?
