NOS Cortina GT Pre-Crossflow 1500 Long block
I have a NOS Cortina GT Pre-Crossflow 1500 Long block for sale. It was built in 1967 and is the last of the 1500 engines that Ford of England made. It has a 6 bolt Flywheel and Crankshaft that has the lip seal oil pan. This was a one year engine, 1966 engine had the rope seal and 1968 Ford went on to use the 1600 Crossflow. The long block has the distributor, Fuel pump, but no water pump. I can supply the correct GT intake manifold and 2 barrel carburetor. The carburetor will need to be rebuilt. This would be a perfect engine for Lotus 7, Morgan 4/4, Ginetta G4, Turner or any of the other English specials that used the EnFo motors. This is probably the last new engine that is available in the U.S.A. The casting numbers for the block and Cylinder head are listed below:
2731 E 6015 block casting number with a date code of 7 G 26 with T11
116E 6050 J cylinder head casting number with a date code of 7 J 22 with T1
I am asking $2500 USD, If interested give me a call at 781 545-3699 or email me at garyeanderson@yahoo.com |
