I have recently
purchased #2121 (from Chequered Flag International in Marina
Del Rey), and the vehicle is now in BC, Canada, where it joins
its close cousins (70 Spitfire, 65 Herald Convertible) and friends (67
Unimog, 81 MG-TD Duchess replica).
The car was registered with the California VARA and seems
to have been raced up till 2004. I have no further information
about its origins.
I will be making it street legal for 'fun use'. So I'm going
to need things like windscreen wipers, softtop & frame, sidescreens. |
