I heard Rick Cook's hometown mentioned one year at Waterford Hills... turns out he lives less than an hour away, so I have had the chance to visit a couple of times. I have also made an effort to see some of his races, my photos of which appear below. The rainy day pics were taken the day my son and I drove our Seven to Grattan in August 2001. That story appears in the 'story' section of this web site.

The photos at right and below were taken in 2002 at Waterford Hills during the Meadowbrook Historic races... between events while Rick had the head off performing a little minor surgery. He took off like a rocket in his very next event, of course the worked head just couldn't hold on and he never saw the checker that race.
