Originally built by a guy in Loughborough in '62... bought from him in '72. Original 105E engine, gear box, chassis, back axle, instrumentation, etc. etc. Includes the original log book, workshop manual & parts/price list. The car was off the road for 12yrs. Professionally rebuilt in '95 and used little since. The clock shows 10K miles. The wings and head lamps were replaced and it was resprayed Lotus green with yellow nose cone.

- Sold by me to Roy Pollard in late 1973
- Bought back by me in 1974
- Has been registered in my name since 1974 although jointly owned by me and Roy since approx 1981
- I have the original manual, parts list and log book
- I also have the original Jersey log book
- It was off the road from approx 1978 until 1995
- It was fully refurbished as a rolling chassis by Derek Moore at the Classic Carriage Company at Mallory Park in 1995, I have the bills etc
- This refurbishment included
1.. New front end to the space frame
2.. New dashboard
3.. New nose cone, front and rear wings, new hood and tonneau, dashboard, headlights etc -
I have invoices for this work
- Mileage; 1962 to 1973 unknown + 1973 to 1977 approx 10,000 + 1977 to 1995 nil + 1995 to 2009 is approx 9600 (This must be the lowest mileage S2 Seven on the planet!)
- It has both full and short vinyl tonneau
- The hood is vinyl
- It was MOT'd recently
- It not in concourse condition
- It appeared in an episode of The Car's The star, I have this on video
- It has been displayed at the Classic Car show at the NEC
- The engine is the original (I think) 105E and was in the car when I bought it
- The carbs are 1 1/4'' SU's and were on the car when I bought it
- The gearbox was in the car when I bought it and I think it is the original one
- The serial number on the plate is SB1462
- The plate has not been tampered with and the rivets fixing it to the car are the ones that were in it when I bought it
- The internal side linings are (I think) the original ones
- The carbs have just been refurbished by D&B Carburettors in Nottingham
- The windscreen has a chip in it, this has been there for many years
- The rear nearside edge of the bonnet was damaged when the bonnet flew
of because I forgot to clip it on
- The rear wings have damage due to my foot slipping off the clutch whilst I was reversing it onto my portable ramps
- The master cylinders have at some time leaked fluid and affected the paint below them
- The original diff failed last year and I replaced it with a second hand spitfire diff, this was installed into the original (I think) rear axle
- The rear axle was strengthened last year
- The wiring loom was new in 1995
- I have some non digital pics of the 1995 refurbishment and of the car before the refurbishment
